Regatta 2 MIAMI BEACH CONDOS launches sales

Lounge Opened for Buyer Reservations

MIAMI BEACH (April 25, 2007) -- Regatta 2 has launched sales, announced developers The Weintraub Companies/ G&D Developers. Reservations are being taken at the sales lounge, located in suite 309 of the boutique condominium’s wildly successful predecessor Regatta, at 6580 Indian Creek Drive. The architecturally striking building is being built next door at 6644 Indian Creek Drive in North Beach, also known as NoBe.

The 115 waterfront residences in Regatta 2 are priced from $270,000 to $1.56 million. In addition to individual units, the developers are selling eight rooftop terraces, priced from $50,000; 18 boat slips, priced from $125,000; and additional parking spaces at $25,000 each.

“The swift success of Regatta was an indicator that Regatta 2 would receive the same response,” said Fernando Levy Hara, of G&D. “There has been tremendous buzz surrounding our launch and we anticipate the momentum will carry throughout the entire sales process.”

“Because Regatta is already built, it provides us with a wonderful opportunity to showcase the style and quality of our product by inviting buyers next door,” added Catherine Rodstein, sales director. “Our beautiful model and real world views of the bay and beach are windows into the wonderful lifestyle we’re selling.”

There are studios and one- to three-bedroom units as well as penthouses with private rooftop terraces, ranging from 651 to 2,267 square feet. Each features large private balconies offering breathtaking Intracoastal and ocean views; expansive floor-to-ceiling hurricane proof windows; European-style kitchens with elevated breakfast countertops; European marble flooring and walls in baths; and full-size washers and dryers. Residents enjoy pre-wiring for cable and high speed Internet in their homes, in addition to Wi-Fi access throughout the building.

Architect Luis Revuelta designed Regatta 2 as a mirror image of Regatta, highlighted by its contemporary curvilinear design and exclusive and intimate ambiance. The condo’s private marina and 315 feet of fabulous water frontage offers residents the unique opportunity to walk right out onto the dock where their boat is moored.

Other amenities include a porte-cochere entrance; and elegant lobby; a waterfront sundeck with heated swimming pool and whirlpool; cedar sauna; state-of-the art fitness center; 24-hour concierge; valet parking and underground parking. The developers are preserving a piece of architectural history by retaining part of the original façade of the MiMo building, Queen Elizabeth Apartments, and transforming it into a novel recreation room featuring a gourmet kitchen, lounge and entertainment area. Outdoors is “The Riverwalk”, a landscaped pedestrian promenade along Indian Creek, and indoors is “The Atrium”, a courtyard with reflecting pools, waterfalls, sitting areas and tropical garden.

Located just north of 63rd Street in Miami Beach, Regatta 2 is nestled right on the Intracoastal one block from the ocean. Next door is Miami Beach Rowing Club and The Shane Watersport Center; a few blocks away are Canyon Ranch Spa and Allison Island.

A lauded development by the community, Regatta was awarded the North Beach Development Corporation Best Project 2006 and the City of Miami “Beautification Award 2006.” Construction of Regatta 2 will commence in July; completion is expected in August 2009.
